This top end kit contains the correct head gaskets and head bolts, plus intake and header bolts needed for use with our Procomp BBC aluminum heads, and many others.
The kit contains the following items.
Premium street/strip Felpro 1017-1 head gaskets for use with aluminum or cast iron heads. These head gaskets are rated for any street or strip applications. Also suitible for nitrous or blower use.
The head bolt set is correct for use on most all Aluminum heads, such as aluminum Procomp, Dart and Edlebrock brands. Special head bolt washers are included, and highly recommended. Always use a bolt lubricant on the head bolts that is especially designed for bolts.
The allen head intake bolts are 1.50 long, for use on all aluminum intake manifolds. They are made from pure 304 high grade stainless, and include stainless washers. We decided on the 1.50 length due to the flange thickness of most aluminum intake manifolds on the market. The risk of stripping the threads in the aluminum heads is much lower when using the long reach bolts.
